THE DANGAR FALLS LODGE

FAQs

Is the Lodge disability friendly?

Yes. Access to the Lodge is via 2 ramps and the bathroom located at the Hakea Wing has a walk in shower and support bars.

Is the campgrounds wet weather accessible?

Yes, but we are soon commencing more earthworks to make it even more accessible in wet weather times

Do I need to pay for showers when I camp ?

Yes. The camping showers are $1 coin operated. We choose this as it assures all campers will get a nice hot shower when required and it helps us to be environmentally friendly.

Can we walk to Dorrigo town?

Almost. There is a footpath currently being built from town to Dangar Falls making it easier and safer to walk to town.

Are there flat areas for caravans?

There are some flatter areas suitable for caravans but you may need to use chocks to make yourself level. We are planning to add some gravelled flat spots in the foreseeable future to cater to the bigger caravans that require a flat area.

What is the weather like in Dorrigo?

Dorrigo is quite a wet location hence, why we have so many beautiful, green rolling hills. Please consider bringing an umbrella or wet weather gear to cater for this. Also sometimes we can have 4 seasons in one day in our warmer seasons, so coat can be handy too.
